Intensive repair shampoo by The Green People - review

Hello my darlings, I hope you've all had a good week so far?

I can't believe we finally got some snow in Brighton! Although the sun has been shining through it still seems to be so cold out...I do love the winter months as I get to wrap up in my favourite jumpers, sweatpants and coats BUT the cold weather really does take it's toll on my skin and hair!

In today's post I will be focusing on some new haircare I am currently using that really helps to condition and protect your hair. My hair has been bleached a number of times so I'm always on the look out for good products to use!

Firstly, I am very pleased to say this shampoo is cruelty free, SLS free, organic and packed full of lovely natural ingredients! The intensive repair shampoo and condition is made by The Green People, one of my long term fav skincare brands so I was very excited to try the shampoo.

A Little bit about the shampoo and conditioner...
The shampoo features our Colour lock system and is a strengthening shampoo for coloured or dry hair Made with Organic Green Tea, Yucca, Quinoa, Sandalwood & Orange its 82% certified organic and contains Quinoa Protein to help limit colour fade.

The conditioner is designed for dry, coloured, chemically-treated & frequently blow-dried hair and is a welcome treat for dry or stressed out hair. Made with Organic Green Tea, Aloe Vera & B vitamin, it boosts shine and nourishes scalp and hair shaft and helps prevents scalp dryness and loss of natural oils

My thoughts...
Both the products have a really nice citrus smell which I personally love. I found the shampoo foamed up well on my hair (sometimes SLS free shampoos don't foam well) but this one seemed to work great and left my hair feeling very clean and refreshed.

I like to apply a generous amount of conditioner to my hair, you don't need too much of this one as a little goes a long way. I did feel it helped smooth my protect my hair which is exactly what I need. When conditioning my hair I like to leave the conditioner on for a couple of minutes to really like it soak in and treat the hair!

I have quite a dry itchy scalp and both the shampoo and conditioner didn't cause any irritation, if anything they helped soothe my scalp. I have found all of the products I have used from the Green People really help to soothe my skin...definitely must be a combo of ingredients that work well for me!

It has taken me quite a while to find some good cruelty free, SLS free haircare but I think I've finally found some I can stick to!

If you are on the lookout for a new shampoo/condition and would like something that does the job without being full of harsh chemicals then I'd 100% recommend picking up a bottle of this stuff!

What are your favourite haircare products? What do you look for when searching for a shampoo and conditioner? Always love to hear your thoughts and recommendations!
