Brows brows brows! If there is one piece of makeup I could not go without it would be my brow pencil, even if I had no other makeup on I would always fill in my brows. So the idea of waking up everyday with perfect looking natural brows was very appealing to me! Although I like the shape of my eyebrows my natural hairs are very thin so do need filling in. In this post I will be sharing my experience of getting my eyebrows microbladed.
So what is microblading? When I first saw photos I just thought it was an eyebrow tattoo that had been done very well to show each hair stroke. But in fact microblading isn't really a tattoo as it uses a very different technique.
Microblading is a method that implants pigment under the epidermis using a specially designed tiny blade which leaves thin realistic hair strokes for the most natural finish. When using the hand held microblade, the colour is deposited closer to the surface than when a tattoo machine is used, leaving very fine and crisp hair strokes with no spilling, staining or colour bleeding under the skin. Microblading is semi permanent and can last up to two years (although regular top ups are recommended to keep the brows fresh and full).
Hello my darling, happy month of May! I really do love this time of year, don't you?
I was feeling inspired to play around with some makeup looks and really like how this one came out so thought I'd share :-) I wanted to do something with warm shimmery colours for the spring. For this look I didn't wear any foundation, instead just used concealer under my eyes and powder. I really wanted something light and natural on the skin. I mainly focused on the eyes and lips using beautiful spring/summer colours!
All the products I used will be listed below.
Hey darlings, today's post is all about accentuating natural beauty with minimal makeup :-)
I don't know about you, but on a day to day basis when I'm off to work in the office I really don't feel like putting on much make-up, if any at all!
Even if you don't work I think this could still apply to all the busy moms and students out there!
Waking up at 6:30am in a bit of a rush isn't time to get creative with the makeup looks, for me personally at least. Makeup can feel great at the start of the day, but after a stressful day it's nice to just feel like your skin can breath and you can relax without having the burden of taking off a load of makeup.
However, that being said I do still like to do a few touch ups to look fresh and awake for the day! I thought I'd share a few of tips/minimal makeup look that I like to do on a day to day basis. I think this look is all about practicality and making the most of your natural beauty :-)
-Concealer is a must have! To cover those dark circles and imperfections on the face. As I don't wear foundation I find this step particularly important! I mainly like to conceal under the eyes to help me look fresh and well rested, however you can use the concealer wherever you need to depending on your skin.
-Blusher A touch of blush, perhaps highlighter if you are feeling a little dull. Adding some color to your face helps bring your skin to life. Applying Highlighter is also a quick easy step to help the skin look youthful and glowing with minimal effort.
-Lip color - I love to use a moisturizing lip stick or stain which will last a long time without having to be topped up. A personal favourite of mine is the MUA lip stick, not only is it a bargain at only £3 but the product is very moisturizing and last hours even after eating. I find it fades really nicely too, rather than leaving a ring around the outside of your lips like some lip products do.
-Brows This is of course optional but for me filling in my brows is a must! Brows shape your face and if like me you have fine hairs I find a touch of benefit gimme brow can really make a huge difference.
After a day at work I always find my eyes are tired and I don't like the feeling of having mascara and eye shadow to remove. So for me personally I won't normally wear any eye makeup at all. Of course this is all down to personal preference! I do wear glasses which I think can add a nice look to the eyes.
If you do want to brighten up your eyes slightly, adding a touch of highlighter on the brow bone and inner corners can do exactly this. If you are feeling extra tired a coat of mascara can also help to open up the eyes!
These simple quick steps can really help to give a fresh neat look without having to apply too much makeup. Having no foundation on really feels great too :-) especially when it gets to the end of the day!
Thanks so much for reading and I hope you found some of the suggestions useful. This is just what I like to do on a day to day basis and I know it may not work for everyone. As always if you have any tips please do share!

Lots of love,
Heyy, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend!
I wanted to create a makeup look using some color that could be worn for an everyday look. I choose to add a pop of color to my lower lash line, this is what I came up with:
I choose to use green for my pop of color, however I think this would work with a variety of colors so please feel free to experiment :-).
Products used to create this look:
Maybelline dream matt mouse - sun beige
Maybelline age rewind concealer - light
Neutral eye shadow palette
Rimmel eyeliner - 031 jungle green
Sephora eyeliner - silver green
Collection - fast stroke liquid eyeliner
Benefit they're real mascara
Nars contour stick - Vientiane
Natural collection blusher - Rosey glow
Color trend pink lipgloss

Hello my darlings, hope you are all well? I am super excited Christmas is fast approaching...In today's post I will be sharing a makeup, hair and outfit idea for Christmas parties. This is actually the look I did for my work Christmas party which was earlier this month :-)
For makeup I decided to go for a smokey eye using a bit of color/sparkle and a neutral lip. As we were having dinner at the Christmas party I thought a neutral lip would be more convenient than a bold one. I really wanted a look that would last all night with the minimum amount of touch ups possible. I am really happy with how the look came out and think it was perfect for night out!
Products I used:
Lily Lolo BB cream - medium
Lily Lolo mineral powder - Cookie
Maybelline age rewind concealer - Light
Rimmel stay matt powder - Natural Beige
Natural collection bronzer - Golden Glow
Natural collection blush - Rosey Glow
Benefit Gimme Brow
Rimmel Brow Pencil - Brown Black
Smashbox Full Exposure Palette
Maybelline color tattoo - Metallic Pomegranate
L'Oreal telescopic mascara
MUA lip liner - Caramel Nougat
Maybelline baby lips
I decided to go for a simple half up half down, over the shoulder look. I parted my hair into a side parting and did a dutch braid across the smaller section. I then curled the remaining section of my hair which was loose.
I decided to go for the classic 'little black dress' look. I also added a lace cardigan and some heels.
To accessories I went for a gold belt, watch and earrings!
What i'm wearing:
Dress - Boohoo.com
Cardigan - eBay
Shoes - New Look
Belt - Boohoo.com
Watch - Michael Kors
(Earrings - sorry I don't know the exact store these are from, I got them while on vacation in Malaysia)
Don't forget to also check out my video of how I got this look! http://youtu.be/YBbCRVBzdtY
Thanks so much for reading/watching. I really hope this post gave you some ideas for your own Christmas parties, or if you don't celebrate Christmas any other night out/party you have coming up!
Love you guys, talk to you in my next post!
Hey my darlings, hope you are all well!
In todays blog thought i'd share some beauty bargains I have found lately. If you can get a product for a fraction of the price which does the same job as a high end product, I think it is definitely a great find! I really love all these products I have listed below and will be repurchasing for sure :-).
1. MUA Lip Liner £1 - I picked up this nude lip liner this week and i'm absolutely loving it! It is the perfect shade for my lips and very similar to the more expensive lip liners I have found. The lid also includes a pencil sharpener which I think is a very useful accessory. I do find the liner is quite soft and needs sharpening regularly but overall a great product and for £1 you can't go wrong!
2. MUA Highlighter £3 - This is a gorgeous super pigmented highlighter, a little goes a long way! I would deff recommend giving this a try if you are on the look out for a new highlighter.
3. Mango body mist £10 The Body Shop - This has to be my favorite perfume... it smells so yummy and sweet/fruity, I find the scent last all day too which I love! This is a lot cheaper than many other perfumes on the market but up there for sure when it comes to quality :-)
4. Boohoo skater dress £12 - I was on the look out for a new black dress and found this one on the boohoo website. I find it such a flattering design, as well as being super comfy! This dress comes in a variety of colors which I think would be perfect for nights out. Definitely think it is a bargain for £12!
Thanks so much for reading! I hope this post has been helpful for some of you on the look out for cheaper options. If you have any bargain buys you have found please let me know, as i'd love to check them out :-)
Lots of love
Hey my darling!
In today's blog I wanted to share my method of covering tattoos with makeup. This isn't something I do often but when I used to model, on occasions I would need to cover my tattoos. I also have a video linked below showing the process!
How to VIDEO - http://youtu.be/TmCuWP5_n24
I use Sally Hansens airbrush legs to cover tattoos. This product is supposed to be for tanning but works well to cover ink and other marks on the skin. The only downfall are the shades are quite dark and orangey toned. Therefore if you have pale skin I don't think this would work for you, however you could add a light powder over the top to lighten the color :-) the color I use is 'light'. When I have more of a tan I like to mix light and medium together to get the right shade.
What I do is spray the product over my tattoo, then use a hair dryer to set the spray. You can add as many layers of the product as needed. I find it takes 15mins or so for the airbrush legs to fully dry. Once it is dry it lasts a long time! It is even waterproof and doesn't transfer onto clothes once dry. To remove I shampoo the area and shower off.
It isn't a perfect cover but I think it does pretty well! If you have a smaller tattoo I think this would work great :-).
I really hope this post has been helpful for some of you. Please let me know if you try it out, and don't forget to watch my video linked above! <3
Lots of love, Rach xoxoxox
Hey friends :-) Sorry it has been a while since my last post! I've been trying to work on videos for my youtube channel as well as work my day job. But I will be making sure I start up my weekly posts again for you guys!
In todays blog I wanted to share my thoughts on a few recent purchases I made. Last week I went to a make-up outlet in Portsmouth and picked up a couple of new blushers which i'm loving!
I picked up these 2 MAC blushes for a discounted price of £14 each (was £20 each).
I think these may be limited edition but they had quite a few left in the store I got these from. I couldn't decide which I preferred so I had to pick up both!
I really love both of these, they are super pigmented so you only need a really small amount! I also like that they have a slightly shimmery look so can be worn without highlighter.
I would say the pink blush is definitely my new favourite :-) I have used it every day since purchasing.
If you are looking for a new blush I'd deff recommend trying one from MAC the colors are beautiful, and I find they also last all day!
My other new purchase has been one of these Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains.
I picked this up from my local drugstore, I have the color '001 India Intrigue' which is a beautiful pink color.
I'm in a split mind about this lip stain...I think it looks gorgeous when applied, and I love that it has a non sticky texture. I also find it leaves my lips very soft which is great.
However on the downside I don't feel it lasts very long, and does need to be topped up regularly. For a lip stain I was expecting something which lasted a bit longer, so on this note I am slightly disappointed with the product.
But in terms of how it looks, the texture and packaging I do really like it! I plan to keep using this product and will definitely let you know my thoughts in a month or so :-).
I also picked up some new shampoo from the Body Shop, for flakey dry hair. But haven't had a chance to use this yet. When I do I will let you guys know what I think!
I hope you enjoyed this quick new purchases/review blog :-) if you have tried out these products definitely let me know what you thought. Also if you know any dupes for the MAC blushers i'd love to know!
Thanks for checking back to my site, and I hope you all have a lovely weekend! <33333333

Hey my darlings, hope you are all well!
Sorry I haven't posted for a little while i've had a very busy couple of weeks at work and catching up with family at the weekends. However I have dedicated this weekend to filming a handful of new videos to share with you guys :-) I will be posting them weekly on my YouTube channel, so I really hope you enjoy those!
Right lets get into today's blog...I thought it would be a nice idea to share some of my beauty tips / tricks. These are just random little things I like to do in my beauty regime which I thought may work for you too!
1. Apply Vaseline to your eyelashes each night before bed.
This is will help your lashes to get longer and thicker over time as well as moisturise your eye area, which of course helps prevent wrinkles!
I used to wear eyelash extensions for about a year on and off which left me with very thin sparse lashes :( Since using Vaseline on my lashes each night I have really noticed a difference...and they are now longer, thick and healthy again. This does take time but definitely works!
2. Braid your hair before bed for beautiful heatless waves.
This is a super simple trick but one I love! If like me you don't have much time to do your hair in the morning this is a perfect way to prepare. I like to do 2 french or dutch braids in my hair when it is slightly damp, this gives beautiful waves from the roots. No heat involved which is also a bonus. It is then just a case of taking out the braids when I wake up and your hair is ready to go!
3. Heat eyelash curlers before using.
For those of you lucky enough to have naturally curled lashes this will not be necessary but for me this is a must :P A simple trick I like to do is heat up my eyelash curlers with my hairdryer before using. I put my hairdryer on a high heat and hold for 5-10 seconds on my eyelash curlers, this really helps to curl my lashes to the max and keep them in place!
4. Dip your make-up brush in eyedrops for a more pigmented look.
This is a super affordable way to give a much more pigmented look to your eyeshadows. You can also use MAC fix plus but eyedrops are a cheaper option :-) I find this works really well with my Smashbox eyeshadows or any with a shimmer. All I do is put a couple of drops of the eyedrops on my brush then apply my eyeshadow as normal, you will find the colours look so much more pigmented and bright. I definitely recommend giving this a try it makes such a difference!
5. Brush coconut oil through your hair for a quick easy hair mask.
This is another trick I like to do before bed to let the oil soak into my hair for a few hours while I sleep for maximum effect. I rub the coconut oil into my hands to warm it up then brush through my hair. I would also recommended braiding or putting your hair in a scarf so the oil doesn't get all over your pillow while you sleep. When you wash it off in the morning your hair will be super soft :-)!
I hope you enjoyed reading a few of my beauty tricks/tips :-) do you have any to share? If so please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear what you recommend!
Thank you so much for reading and checking out my website, speak to you guys soon!!
Lots of love,
As requested, I have now filmed a quick video of how I did this make-up look for you guys! Really hope you enjoy <3

eBay blush palette (this doesn't seem to have a brand from what I can see)
Rimmel eyebrow pencil - brown black

I really hope you enjoyed this super simple, quick make-up look. Thank you for checking out my blog <3
Hello my darlings :) I was playing around with some make-up looks and wanted to share this dramatic sparkly/smokey eye look with you guys. I normally like to wear fairly natural looking make-up on a day to day basis, so enjoyed playing around with a more heavy eye look for a change.
Face - To begin this look I mixed my BB cream with Revlon skinlights and applied this all over my face with a beaut blender to give a nice glowy look. I then used my MAC prep & prime stick in lightboost to highlight underneath my eyes.
For contour I used the darkest brown shade of bronzer from the natural collection. I applied this below my cheekbones, around my forehead and underneath my chin. I also used the same powder to contour my nose. I really like how this powder isn't too orangey or dark, it's more of a neutral brown tone :-) for blush I used one of the matt pink colours from my eBay blush palette.
Eyes - First I preped my eyelids with Urban Decay's eye shadow base. I currently have a sample sachet of this, which has lasted me quite a while :-) a little goes a long way. I will definitely be purchasing the full size product once my sample has run out!
I then used a matt brown eye shadow in my crease from my smashbox full exposure palette and blended this out nicely using the fluffy end of the brush, included in the palette. After this I carefully added a couple of layers of the black shadow from the same palette. The key was then to really blend blend blend! I then went ahead and applied the silver eye shadow which is from Sephora (sorry I don't know the exact colour, i've had the eyeshadow for so long the writing has rubbed off). Before applying the silver shimmery colour, I dipped my brush in eye drops. This make the eye shadow come out a lot brighter and pigmented which looks great! It has a similar effect as MAC fix plus.
To line my lashline I used my fav gel liner from Rimmel, I then applied Ardel lashes to finish the eyes.
Products I used for this look:
- Maybelline BB cream - Medium
-Revlon Skinlights - barelight
-MAC prep+prime highlighter - lightboost
-Natural collection bronzing powder - golden glow
-MUA lip balm
-Smashbox full exposure palette
- Sephora eyeshadow
-eBay blush palette
-Urban Decay eyeshadow base
If you would like to see a video of how I did this look please let me know :) I will be filming some stuff this weekend for my YouTube channel. I really hope you enjoyed this blog and make-up look.. As always your feedback and thoughts are much appreciated!
Until next time, i'll see you later my beauties :-)
Lots of love.. Rach xoxox
Hello my sweet peas :-) hope you're all having a good week so far, I can't believe it's almost half way through May already..time is flying by!
On todays blog I wanted to share my thoughts on the Smashbox full exposure palette, I brought this palette a couple of weeks back and I'm loving it!
Firstly I really like the packaging of this product, the palette comes with a free mascara and a double ended brush which works very well. Also a booklet to explain eye shapes with suggested methods of how to apply eye shadow to accentuate your features.
It comes with 7 matt shades and 7 shimmery shades. A little goes along way with these eye-shadows and they blend really well.
In the image above I used the top 3 shimmery shades on the left hand side of the palette, and the darkest brown colour in my crease/outside corner of my eyes.
In my opinion each one of the eye-shadows in this palette are so beautiful, I can't decide which one is my fav. You can create a great day to night looks with these colours and build them up if you prefer a more dramatic look.
This is probably my favourite palette right now as I love each and every shade it includes, and I can create a lovely look every day using this product.
If you are looking for a neutral palette to try I would 100% recommend the Smashbox full exposure palette!
If you have tried this palette I'd love to know your thoughts about it, and see photos of looks you have created :-).
