Hello my darling, I hope you are all having a good week? It's really been getting cold and windy down in Brighton, definitely starting to feel like UK autumn/winter now!
Ok so let's jump into it... today's post is going to a review about the facial and body oil from Ermana Natural Skincare. If you have read my previous skincare blog posts you will probably know I am a HUGE fan of oils, so I was super excited when Ermana asked if I wanted to try out a couple of their products!
Firstly, who are Ermana Natural Skincare?
Ermana is a UK based skincare company. They also use UK based suppliers for all their ingredients, bottles and packaging. Ermana was created by a lady called Claire, the brand is all about creating natural, healthy, vegan and cruelty free products that pack the skin with goodness!

My first impression...
I received the Renew Facial Oil and Refine Body Oil. As a very first impression I really liked the packaging, I thought the design was very pretty, simple and classy. The bottles both have droppers which are the best sort of bottles for oils in my opinion! I really like that you can control exactly how much product you want to dispense with this sort of packaging so none goes to waste.
Both of the oils have a mild citrus scent which I find very pleasant, I feel like they smell very 'natural'... no chemical sort of smell or anything like that.
Trying out the products
With the colder weather here I really find my skin starts to get on the drier side, so it's the perfect time to bring out the oils! (although I do use facial oil all year round).
I tried the body oil first, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how little you need! I initially thought the bottle was fairly small to contain a product for all over your body so assumed it would be used up really quickly. But I think I may be proved wrong! I used about 3 drops which was enough to cover my whole arm. I think if you were to apply this on slightly damp skin out of the bath/shower the product would go even further.
The oil felt super smooth and moisturising when applied and sunk in fairly quickly. I think this oil would be perfect to apply on any areas of your skin where you are particularly dry or just want that extra boost of softness. I tend to get patches of eczema on my arms and found this oil really helped to sooth the irritation.
Next lets talk about the facial oil. I applied this after cleaning at night with no other moisturiser on top. Again you only need a tiny amount of this for your neck and face. Once applied I didn't really notice the scent, it blended in very well leaving my skin feeling refreshed with a healthy glow. I find in the morning my face always feels well repaired and plumped up after using oil the night before, I absolutely love it!
I also tried this oil out during the day to see if it would work well then too. I only applied a very small amount though, mainly to my cheeks (where my skin is drier) I then just patted the remaining oil left on my hands to my forehead and neck. I personally found this oil worked really nicely during the day, it wasn't too greasy and gave the skin that nice healthy glow which looks great without makeup or as a base for makeup if you wanted to apply some on top.
Overall I really liked both of these oils, it feels great to use products packed full with natural goodness as well as being vegan and cruelty free. I will no doubt be purchasing these oils again when I run out. I noticed Ermana also does a range of products for mums to be, I wish i'd known about this brand when I was pregnant as I definitely would have ordered a few bits!
I really do think this brand is worth checking out if like me you are all about natural healthy skincare products!
Where to buy:
Please note: This post was not sponsored, Ermana Skincare sent me a couple of oils to try. All opinions are my own and I would only accept products that I would actually be interested in buying myself and using in my day to day regime :-)
